So, what have we brought out in this health care issue? Well, first, we have brought out the fact that instead of addressing the issue of health care everyone seems to be focused on health care insurance and that has nothing to do with the cost of health care itself. The fact that we ignore the real problem, if there is any real problem, tells me that we have become a nation brainwashed into thinking that insurance is the only answer to the health care costs problem when it may be one of the causes of it.
Second, we see that handing responsibility of our debts over to a third party for a fee results in the higher costs that we the user of health care must pay. Plus it allows that third party to be the determinant of any health care that we receive if we expect that third party to pay for our health care. That means that when a patient contracts an illness that is not covered by the insurance, the costs of that illness must be paid by the patient himself. And it would mean that all of the moneys spent on that insurance was wasted when it could have been used to pay for the treatment of this illness.
Third, we must take into consideration the consequences of a governmental mandate to buy health insurance. And these consequences go beyond the usual outcries of unconstitutionality. They go to the very soul of men who believe in free will, pursuit of happiness, and liberty.
There will always be those who will consensually and willingly give up those rights in order to benefit in some area of their lives but it doesn’t mean that they have the right to force other to give up those rights also. Some will do so in ignorance of what they are giving up in exchange. Some will support it not caring about what they would be depriving themselves and others of.
I have nothing but pity for those who choose out of ignorance but I have nothing but contempt for those who do not care what they deprive others of in order to get what they want. My focus will always be on the individual who was given these rights and that all, not just by the few, must honor those rights.
I will respect the viewpoint of all persons on the matter. And if there are those who are serious about their concerns for health care I will be happy to discuss them but let the subject be about the costs of health care not health care insurance costs.
Allow not emotions get in the way of your reasoning. Allow reasoning to guide your emotions. This be the last of my words on the issue.

Why does God not want everyone to have health insurance?
it's not a matter of what God wants, truth. it's a matter of being able to apply one of the gifts that He gave to each of us, free will or as some put it, the freedom of choice.
and that free will includes the right not to have health insurance. when government "forces" a choice upon the people then the people no longer can exercise their free will in regards to an issue.
besides that, truth, each of us are individuals as God created us. that would mean that each of has our own particular needs and that includes health needs.
in order to have universal health coverage to address the health concerns of each individual would require that each of us have our own particular insurance policy which caters to the special health needs of that individual.
this is especially true since illness have many factors in them, including environment, race, inherentcy, climate, behaviors, relationships, age, gender, etc.
and these factors are always in continuous change. thus the health needs of each individual changes also.
so,,to have universal health insurance as you envision it is an impossibility.
My hubby has Health insurance through work and just this year they changed it that we can no longer go to the Emergency room because we have so many Urgent Care facilties here in Green Bay and his insurance went up another 200 dollars.. Its ridiculous.. If we have to go to the Emergency room they will deduct 150 automatically... Its really stupid..
People who are against this joke of a bill are not "health reform foes". Nearly everyone agrees that the health care system needs reforming. We are against government control of the health care system, period.
By now we have all heard the clichés and seen the posters from the "Tea Parties" espousing freedom, less government, and perhaps most of all, how the federal government had better back off trying to shove their national healthcare down our otherwise healthy throats. The truth of the matter is all the slogans of "Don't Tread On Me" or "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death" or "We're Mad As Hell And We're Not Taking It Anymore," don't mean a thing when compared to reality; the real and actual answer to all the protests, marches, and outrage. The answer is in our own backyards!
We have a con-man for a president that is redistributing the wealth and wrecking our society. We'll be broke and speaking Chinese in 25 years
