Gas Prices
If you'll notice on my side bar I added a new element, a place where you can check out the price of gas in your home town. It will help you find the cheapest gas stations and save you money on gas. All you need to do is place your zip code in and it will take you to a site that will give you the prices in your area. It might help those budget woes that we all feel these days and as we all know "a penny saved is a penny earned". Hope it helps.

That's neat. $3.95-4.04 up this way. Still looking for a hybrid
lawnmower though....
i thought so too. could save ya money looking for the cheapest gas in town without wasting gas looking for it.
as for the lawnmower, there's one out, been out for ages. uses no gas at all. its called a rotary push mower. runs strictly on manpower. lol
I actually forwarded that site to my buddies in Mass., it is great and we have the equivalent in Ireland as right down the road from me, I am paying 1.3 euro's per litre. I try not to think about that in dollars because its too darn scary.
I just went and filled up today :P
Happy Birthday! ;)
Gas is getting out of control, Griper!!
Birthday??
Happy Birthday, Griper!!!
I saw gas for 3.75 yesterday.
Woot!
There were no gas prices listed for our town and I'm not about to drive to the cheapest gas station in the closest main town, some distance away. I guess this is for city folk. Oh well. Thanks anyway.
there can be, lista, you can do the reporting yourself. that is how all of them are listed.
I'm not really looking for another volunteer ministry right now, but thanks for trying.
it doesn't have to be a ministery, lista. just take note of prices as you happen to drive around. you yourself would be the biggest beneficiary. for then you'd know where to go for best price.
Whether something is a large amount of effort or a small amount of effort is not what defines a ministry. Some ministries are more effort than others, yet even easy ones are not mandatory. This is a free country and each person can choose to do or not do what ever they choose.
I do not need to know the prices of any more than two of the gas stations in town. One of the two is always the cheapest. Exceptions do happen, but are rare. Constantly recording this information would be extra unnecessary effort. Unless I was looking for a ministry, I have no personal need to do it.
he just nods and smiles. you back home now from vacation?
Yeh,
We don't have a lap top. I wish we did. Quite apart from the priviledge of checking my blog while away, we also realized that we were running out of memory stick space on our camaras and there was no computer to down load them to so that we could start over.
There were computers at a lot of the hotels, but I didn't feel right about leaving those I was traveling with in order to spend time in the lobby. I considered it, but decided against it.
well welcome home. hope you enjoyed the trip.
