since i cannot determine what "it" is in your question i will respond to it in a generalized manner.
i am an advocate of any political ideology that subordinates itself unto the dominance of the particular Constitution in reference. this and this alone will reveal the limitation of power and authority of government over the people per the intent of the existance of a constitution. it is this that is the safeguard from a dictatorship as the word is usually understood.
i am an opponent of any ideology that reveals itself as dominent over the Constitution in reference by placing such importance upon a issue so as to require a revision of the Constitution by interpretation in order for the government to address that issue as declared necessary by that ideology. it is this that expands the power and authority of that particular government over the people thus negating any value of a constitution for the intent and purpose of governance of a people. it is this that is the first step to a dictatorship.
And the people most happy about it are American Muslims.
