"The King and I", Staring with Yul Brynner (1956). Yul Brynner was the Pharaoh in the "Ten Commandments" (also 1956), in which he Stared along side of Charlton Heston, who Played Moses. Yul Brynner also Played Solomon in "Solomon and Sheba" that Same Year.

I have to admit I have never heard of either of these two movies and my mom has a lot of movies from that area of time..LOL..

Don't Feel Bad, Nspot, the Movie that I Mentioned is Probably the Only One that I have Seen her in. I Scanned through her Wikipedia Page for Movies I Recognized and that was the Only One.

Oh, Wait a Minute! It Looks Like she also Stars in James Bond Films. Huh?.... Yeh. I can See that. Not from these Pictures, though, but from the One in the Wikipedia.

i think you and your mother would enjoy both movies, nbr.

and yes, she was a Bond girl, lista, the oldest one too.

Deborah Kerr had a very distinct screen presence in any film that she worked in. She was quite an accomplished actress.

I really enjoy reading the comments on the films. Classic Hollywood films are still worth watching and discussing.

the one thing i admire about her is the fact she took a personal stance against the use of nudity in films also. that is why she quit making movies and went back to the stage (her personal love) and television.

In Order to make a Statement like MsLadyDeborah Said, One would have had to have seen More than One of her Movies. I have to do Research in Order to Participate in the Conversation.

you know, lista, a lot of what i have to say is based upon research also. it doesn't matter where you learn it from it is still something that each of us appreciates finding out about persons such as she is. so, each of us contributes to the conversation.

I don't Mean to Complain, Griper, and I'm not Even sure that I would want you to Change how you do your "Beauty" Posts, yet I just Feel Like Telling you that it has always been a lot of Effort to Talk to you and Even your "Beauty" Posts are like a Puzzle that Needs to be Figured Out.

Sometimes I just Feel Tired and I Wonder if you Know how to Allow Someone to just Relax instead of all the Time Giving them Something to Figure Out.

If I had the Time, I would Love to Watch some of these Old Movies, yet I don't Think that My Husband is Interested in them and I so Rarely get the Chance to Pick a Movie. I Mostly just Watch what he wants to Watch because it is not Worth the Argument and I Stopped Insisting that we Take Turns some Time Ago.

I'm just Full of Gripes today, Griper, and I Apologize, yet to Top it all Off, there is Someone in our Neighborhood who has been Shooting Dogs (Yes, I Mean People's Pets) for the Sake of Three Chickens. Everyone in the Neighborhood is Angry at him for it. There shouldn't be this Kind of a Consequence just because a Dog Accidentally Gets Out of his Yard just Once.
