April Fool's Day

Ahhhhh, Tis that day, my friends, that, as Mark Twain would say, reminds us all of what we are the rest of the year.

But, more important, I think, is the fact it is a day to remind us that life was meant to be enjoyed and not be taken so seriously.

Enjoy the day and be careful of the pranks.

Spring is right around the corner.

Ah, April Fools Day; we can be perpetrators, victims or both.
I was victimized some years back when I went to work and could not find my staff or workers. I began listening to my phone messages...one after another, they called in sick. Startling and peculiar, until I heard snickering coming from the restrooms.....
...a couple of my favorites were the physicist who claimed a new and different value for Pi and a model railroad magazine article on a model subway which ran beneath the layout in PVC tubes. Tis indeed a special day for those of us who are silly!

yup, it was a special day for us fools. most of the time tho, it is ourselves who pulled the jokes on us. but then again, who knows, God may have been the biggest jokster of all in his creation. lol

Hi, Griper.

Yes, Spring is on the way, which means the wildflowers are beginning to bloom and here in Texas the Blue Bonnets and Lady Slippers are already all over the place. It's beautiful! Unfortunately it also means I'll be spending time weeding, mowing and trimming bushes. For every silver lining there is a cloud. (Yes... I know that's backwards.) :)
